App Re-install

This article outlines the steps to re-install the App on mobile devices & setup the Smart Probe

If you are using iOS device:

  1. Hold firm on the App

  2. Once you get an option to delete the App, please select delete

  3. Next, browse to App Store, search for Food Safety Plan and install the iMonitor app

  4. Once you start the App (after downloaded), it will ask for the App to be updated…please install the updates

  5. The probe should work without any further intervention

If you are using Android device:

  1. Select setting, browse to Applications Manager

  2. Select “Food Safety Plan” application and uninstall the app

  3. Next, browse to Play Store, search for Food Safety Plan and install the iMonitor app

  4. Once you start the App (after downloaded), it will ask for the App to be updated…please install the updates

  5. Once the updates are installed, please ensure the application has permission to use probes. 

  6. Use the following steps to ensure the App has permission to use the Smart Probe: 

  • Go to Settings

  • Click on Apps (or Applications) 

  • Browse through the list and find, Food Safety Plan

  • Then click on “Permissions” – a separate window will open up

  • On the top right, you’ll see three dots  , tap on this and select All permissions
